SCIATICA

sciaticaSymptoms:
Acute pain in the lower back extending down the back of either leg.

What is it?
Five pairs of nerves exit the spine into the lower back to form two sciatic nerves. A bulging, herniated or ruptured disc puts pressure on and then causes swelling and inflammation of the sciatic nerve.

Sometimes cumulative damage of years of bad posture, poor muscle tone or countless other causes set the stage for sciatica. Another cause can be spinal decay.

Chiropractic Treatment consists of improving joint motion with a series of adjustments that has produced results for millions. The lower back often shows improved disc height and spacing, relieving the pressure on the sciatic nerve and reducing or eliminating the pain.
